So today the Tazamo Social Media team were lucky enough to gain an insight into Shopshires one stop music shop. We caught up with Dan and George over at guitarplus.

Dan & George, business partners, pride themselves on having a large selection of products catering to all ages, abilities and budgets, whilst maintaining a professionalism of service.
“We intend to be a one stop music shop for not only Wellington, but the whole of Shropshire, too,” explained Dan, who, when we spoke was busy finalising the arrangements at the shop with George. “Between us, we have over 30 years experience in the music world,” he explained.
The shop is very much guitar-plus. It sells all types of guitars; acoustic, electric, semi-acoustic, electro-acoustic and basses. Starting from a touch under £40, right through to thousands of pounds, guitarplus' range is very impressive. They also sell ukuleles, mandolins, drum kits, brass, strings, woodwind instruments, plus, keyboards and music books, with more things on the way as they pass into the new year. They are delighted to be agents for well-recognised brands including USA Fender, Tanglewood, Hofner, Faith, Fernandes, Crafter and Freshman, just to name a few.
As well as retailing all types of musical instruments they offer a comprehensive repair service. “If we sell them, we maintain and repair them,” said Dan, proudly.
They also sell a wide range of accessories, including the popular ‘Martin’ and ‘Ernie Ball’ ranges of guitar strings. Downstairs houses a large well-appointed retail section of the business, whilst upstairs is an academy where music pupils are group taught, or given one-to-one tuition.
Upstairs also includes a Demonstration Stage. "Every time we have a new instrument range, or piece of equipment downstairs for sale, guitarplus will have an evening of demonstration, performed and explained by, world class musicians who will come in and show off the item's features".
Our Academy, which can seat up to 100 people will also be staging masterclasses, with top experts in their field. These will range from Song Writing, to Live Sound Engineering, to Home Recording Techniques, and Advanced Instrument Tutorials. And by the time you read this article the virtual online version of 'guitarplus' should be open for business, too.
